Rocks Can be Like People
Have you ever took time to think that all living animals are unique? While there are many similarities between individuals every entity has they’re own footprint (with the exception of identical twins perhaps).
This old glacial morraine and river bed below Mt. Rainier has a population of rocks and boulders that exemplifies this concept.
New Work: Point Defiance Tree
One afternoon, not so long ago I spent some time exploring the gigantic park near Tacoma, Washington —Point Defiance.
It must have been in October and as I walked through the cool afternoon air I spotted this magnificant deciduous tree bathed in the backlight from the sun.
Interesting enough, the branches contained brilliant green colors, mold and mildew thanks to the rain saturated area tyoical of the Pacific Northwest this time of the year.
